Wilson Tan

Wilson is a founding member and shareholder in Stream Global Pte Ltd. Over a period of 30 years he held different senior management positions in Asia Pacific region at Software AG, Informix, Apple, Xerox and Transmacro Data Systems. In addition, as part of his tenure at Mercury Software, Wilson lived in Japan for 2 years where he served as President of Japan and Asia Pacific.

Wilson’s industry experience and ICT community involvement includes his term as the President of the Asian-Oceanian Computer Industry Organization (ASOCIO), an organisation that oversees the development and interest of more than 10,000 companies in 19 economies including Australia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Hong Kong and India.

Area of Interests

Wilson has a keen interest in technical and business developments in the ICT and New Media arenas. He has a penchant to support and develop Asia Pacific start-ups and enterprises into world-class organizations. Wilson has also been intimately involved in the education scene, where the next generation of leaders are groomed.
